Pan Brothers to set up new factories

Indonesia-based textile and garment exporter Pan Brothers has announced an investment plan of US $ 35-37 million for 2017. “US $ 30 million from the capex is allocated for construction of Eco Smart factory while remaining will be used for the maintenance of existing factories,” said Anne Patricia Sutanto, Deputy Director of the company.

There will be two new factories under PT Eco Smart Garment Indonesia in Central Java, to be finished later this year. The installed capacity will be 21 million pieces of garment and the production will start in 2018. “Our total capacity now is 90 million pieces of garment each year, with the addition of this plant, it can increase the capacity of 21 million pieces of garment each year, bringing a total of 111 million pieces per year,” Anne added.
