Struggling fashion retail business in the US is a big concern for Indian apparel exporters as in the past few months over 18 fashion brands have shown negative results. Some of the retailers have even announced stores closure and are filing for Chapter 11. As the EU market is already not doing well and now US is also showing sluggishness, both of which are traditional and core markets for India, apparel exporters are getting concerned.
